IEC is a non-commercial cluster with partners from industry, academia and the public sector jointly working with knowledge, skills, and strategic competence in all fields of information and communication technology.

IEC supports partners from industry and the public sector with cost-efficient competence management. It provides access to research resources and opens business contacts and opportunities. It helps university partners in offering relevant course content and defining real world research cases.

Information Engineering is an engineering approach to computer and information technology. Topics of interest include but are not limited to content and knowledge management, information retrieval and fusion, IT security, software and information quality, trends in technology and society with IT relevance.

Activities include but are not limited to organizing and offering seminars and courses, thesis and lab projects, joint application for and execution of research projects, networking and match-making, and generally increasing the visibility of our partners.

We are active in Kronoberg and Kalmar county, southern Sweden.
